Miami eked its way into the top five most-searched real estate markets of 2010 on Realtor.com, the website said today. The South Florida city, which reached a high of No. 3 in July and a low of No. 6 in January, February and March, ultimately came in behind Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Antonio, Nos. 1 through 4. “Changing conditions throughout 2010 in the sunshine states resulting from foreclosures, the tax credit, interest rates and other factors created more interest in real estate compared to other states that we hope leads to increased activity and sales in 2011,” the website said of its survey results.
