Lake Worth’s the Bamboo Room, which has hosted performers like Bo Diddley, John Hammond and Les Dudek but shuttered in May 2008 due to the economy, will be reincarnated at its original location next month. In its second life, the blues and rock club will be open only Thursday through Saturday nights for live music shows, with tickets costing between $10 and $25 apiece. The club, at 25 S. J Street, will debut Feb. 17 with a show by David Shelley and the Bluestone band — symbolic because Shelley was the last act to play when the club closed three years ago. [Palm Beach Post]
