UM Life Science Park signs EDC

Wexford, the developer of the University of Miami Life Science & Technology Park has brought in Enterprise Development to help companies in the new park downtown grow. Enterprise does similar work at Florida Atlantic University’s Research and Development Park, and now it will have an office at UM’s park. EDC helps early-stage companies find lawyers, accountants and other experts, consulting with about 300 companies per year. “The EDC will be able to help these companies in the early stages of their development to get them to the next milestone,” said Catherine Vorwald, director of business development for Wexford.
