Foreclosure dries up bartending school

The ABC Bartending School in West Palm Beach has sobered up after a
foreclosure judgment turned its water off. “We really can’t function
without water,” said Mark Platte, an instructor at the school. “I can’t
just up and move the school.” Owner Steven Johnson of Delray Beach had a
$1.85 million judgment of foreclosure against him last month, with an
auction set for Feb. 25. The person handling renting of the property
could not be reached, nor could attorneys in the case. Platte said he
had a class coming in next week and needed the water turned on. [Palm
