Delano expanding abroad

Morgans Hotel Group, which owns the Delano on South Beach, is expanding
the brand to Mexico. The company announced that it had signed deals to
expand the Delano brand to Turkey and Mexico. The Delano in Turkey will
be situated on the Aegean, with 200 rooms. The hotel’s Mexico version
will be in Cabo San Lucas on the Baja Peninsula, and should be open by
early 2013. “We are particularly pleased to expand our portfolio to new
non-U.S. destinations, which we are confident will be just the tip of
the iceberg of our future international expansion.” [Miami
