Florida home sales fall 10 percent

Home sales fell 10 percent statewide in the fourth quarter, according to
a report from Florida Realtors. The data also shows that the median
sales price of homes in Florida fell by 5 percent, to $134,100 from $140,000. Fort Lauderdale saw a 21 percent drop in the number of home
sales, while Miami saw a 19 percent decrease. Miami’s median sales price
fell by 6 percent, to $177,700. West Palm Beach’s metro area saw the
narrowest decline, with sales falling just 3 percent, and the median
