Miami officials are up in arms over a pornographic film allegedly filmed
on Flagler Monument Island in Miami. “This is not an uninhabited island
miles off the coast,” assistant city manager Hilda Fernandez said.
“It’s in the middle of a very busy bay. You can’t go filming pornos in
public parks.” The group that shot the film, Reality Kings, did not get
seek the proper licensing to do so. City leaders are particularly upset
because the island, which has a memorial for Henry Flagler, John
Rockefeller’s Standard Oil partner, is considered a public park. [NBC Miami]
