While the foreclosure crisis left Delray Beach with excess inventory, it’s also provided a premise for a reality show, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Pat Colville, an investor and developer, is currently pitching the show “From Foreclosure to Fabulous” to networks, in the hopes of getting his house-flipping program on the air. In a pilot episode, Colville purchased a foreclosed, one-bedroom condominium for just $30,000, before renovating it for $11,000, in prime condition for the market. Although it was not immediately clear whether the home has sold yet — and for how much — Delray Beach Mayor Woodie McDuffie has already thrown his support behind the endeavor, noting that it could help rid the community of vacant homes.
