The historic post office building in Palm Beach at 95 North County Road
has been sold for $3.72 million, according to deed information from the
Palm Beach County Clerk’s office. “I know that the Palm Beach Post
Office was sold, and we’re looking to establish a retail and [postal]
box [facility] in the area,” said Debbie Fetterly, a postal service
spokesperson. The postal service announced nearly two years ago that it
would be selling the building, and last September a pending sale fell
through. There is now one other post office on the island, on South
County Road. [Palm
