Boca golf course gets green certification

Boca Raton’s Broken Sound Club golf course has become the second golf
course in America to be certified by the Golf Environment Organization
for green practices. The GEO is a non-profit organization that
recognizes courses for practices like having a composter/digester to
reduce green and food waste, the installation of solar panels and other
programs to increase environmental quality. The course will need
recertification from GEO in 3 years. [SFBJ]
