Big-box electronics retailer hhgregg has inked a five-year lease for 66,095 square feet of space at Seneca in Pembroke Park, wrapping up its search for a new regional distribution center. The chain, which is in expansion mode in South Florida, is planning to open at least nine stores in the region, the first of which are expected to open later this year. The company’s landlord at the Seneca North building is KTR Capital Partners, which developed the 527,000-square-foot industrial complex off of Interstate 95, on Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Lawrence Shaw and Kris Wagner of Colliers International represented hhgregg in the deal. [SFBJ]
