Miami is 7th most-dangerous U.S. city

Miami is the seventh most-dangerous city in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking. The ranking, which is based on seven years of FBI crime data, pegged Miami’s crime rate at more than three times the national average. Miami beat out Baltimore (No. 8) but came in behind the first-ranked St. Louis, Atlanta (No. 2), and Birmingham and Orlando, which were tied for third place.
