Broward pending home sales rise

The total number of cumulative pending home sales, including condos and
single family homes rose in Broward County by 7.7 percent last month,
compared to the same period in 2010. “Rising pending home sales in
Broward County are a positive indication of future market activity,”
said Terri Bersach of the Miami Association of Realtors. Condos
outperformed single family homes last month, with condo sales jumping
12.3 percent compared to February 2010, and single family homes up 9.1
percent. There were a total of 3,513 pending sales of single family homes
in February, along with 4,878 condo sales. TRD
