Young At Art Museum going vertical

The new $21 million Young At Art Museum in Davie just got paneled. The 55,000-square-foot structure along I-595 hsaw its 45 angled, exterior wall panels go up, marking a construction milestone for the LEED-certified project. The museum, which was designed by Spillis Candela DMJM and Glavovic Studios, will house the 10,000-square-foot Broward County Children’s Reading Center, a National Traveling Exhibition Gallery, recording studio, teen center, 22-seat pre-school classroom and café.
