MLB player’s real estate company in bankruptcy

Tamach Gables Square, which owns a Coral Gables office condo at 75 Valencia Avenue, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week. The company’s principals include Carlos Gonzalez, Oscar Vega and Philadelphia Phillies infielder Placido Polanco. Last year, Sun American Bank filed a notice of foreclosure against Tamach Gables Square. According to the bankruptcy petition, the company’s debt is between $10 million and $50 million. The bankruptcy attorney handling the action is Ronald Neiwirth of Fowler White Burnett. [SFBJ]
