Florida existing home sales rose 13 percent last month compared to February 2010 and condominium sales rose 29 percent, according to a new report from Florida Realtors, released today. February was the third straight month of year-over-year increases in existing home and condo sales figures for the state, where the median sales price was $121,900, down 2 percent from $124,500 one year ago. “The housing market is healing with sales fluctuating at times, depending on the flow of distressed properties coming on the market,” said Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the National Association of Realtors, the nationwide affiliate of Florida Realtors.
