Storm shutter company facing suits

After taking tens of thousands of dollars in deposits, a South Florida
hurricane shutter company may have violated work timeline laws, as
regulators have received more than 24 complaints against
Hallandale-Beach based Rolladen. Many clients say their installations
were on hold for more than six months after they signed contracts,
despite estimates of delivery within four to eight weeks. “That could be
grounds for pulling a license, if a contractor is not performing on
their contracts,” said Joel Metter, Broward County’s consumer protection
advisor. [Sun
