The Mayfair Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove, which received a mortgage
extension only months ago, is in a foreclosure action by Resource Real
Estate Funding. The suit concerns 132 units in the 179-unit condominium
hotel, which is located at 300 Florida Avenue. The action is one of
several against Ceebraid-Signal, which is based in West Palm Beach,
whose affiliate, CSC Mayfair Land, owns the Mayfair. The company’s
hotels that face foreclosure include the Omphony In Palm Beach, the
Traymore in Miami Beach and the Gulfstream in Lake Worth. [SFBJ]
