Good fence means angry neighbors for Palm Beach resident

Palm Beach resident Eric Gilbertson has added new fines to a total of
more than $600,000 owed to the town, after installing a wood and bamboo
fence along the west side of his home at 151 Chilean Avenue. The fence
means a new fine of $100 per day, imposed at an Enforcement Board
meeting last week. Gilbertson has been cited for general disrepair of
his property, and neighbors complained about the illegal fence, which is
about six feet high and 25 feet in length. [Palm
