Total cumulative pending home sales of single-family and condominium
homes in Broward County increased by 1.2 percent in March, according to
data from the Miami Association of Realtors. There were a total of 8,628
such sales in the county in March, although that number represented a
0.43-percent drop from February, which saw 8.665 sales. “The improving
economy and higher consumer confidence are contributing to the
strengthening of the Broward County real estate market,” said Terri
Bersach, president of the Broward County Board of Governors of the Miami
