AVE Aviation & Commerce Center in Opa-Locka has secured four new
leases for a total of 85,000 square feet, according to Ernesto Cambo,
principal of CPF Investment Group, which developed AVE. The agreements
include tenants BK FRames, Cintas, RaceTrac gas station and Subway,
bringing occupancy at the center to 94 percent. It signed more than $50
million and 207,000 square feet of leases last year. “The new industrial
leases signify an increased interest in the market for smaller Class A
space to optimize distribution,” Cambo said. “Adding a retail component
to AVE brings much-needed services to the area.” TRD
