Kendall shopping center loses $20M foreclosure

A Kendall shopping center, the Pointe at Kendall, has lost a $19.7
million judgment of foreclosure just three days after the foreclosure
suit against it was filed. The judgment against Pointe at Kendall was
rendered on April 28, three days after the lawsuit was filed on the
site, an 82,692-square-foot shopping center located near the new West
Kendall Baptist Hospital. Anchor tenants at the center, which is
situated at 16500 SW 88th Street, include Walgreen’s, Bank of America,
BJ’s Wholesale Club, OfficeMax and PetSmart.  [SFBJ]
