Delinquent homeowners owe $121M in Palm Beach County property taxes

More than 32,000 homeowners in Palm Beach County have yet to pay their
property taxes this year, for a total of $121 million in unpaid taxes.
If the money isn’t received by the tax collector by May 31, it could be
recouped in the annual tax certificate auction the next day. “I know
that many families are struggling,” said Palm Beach County tax collector
Anne Gannon in a statement. “If you have the ability to put together a
payment, I strongly encourage you to retire this obligation now. A delay
will only result in escalating costs and fees.” [Palm
