Commercial real estate firm Transwestern has nabbed nearly 4 million square feet of industrial management contracts across the state from Cabot Properties. According to GlobeSt.com, the portfolio includes 25 properties, mostly in Broward and Palm Beach counties, and brings Transwestern’s total industrial property management portfolio to 7.4 million square feet in Florida. Last year, Transwestern scored a similar deal when it was hired to manage 3.3 million square feet of industrial space for RREEF 18 months ago, and was recently brought on as the leasing agent for Downtown Miami’s 600,000-square-foot Miami Tower. Meanwhile, the company has an eye towards expanding in Central Florida, where one million square feet of its new Cabot Properties assignments are located. [GlobeSt]
