The Federation Holdings Portfolio, which includes five separate parcels,
has been sold for $7.97 million to two buyers, the city of Plantation
and a company from Hollywood. The seller, a company from Cooper City,
Fla, was represented by Marcus & Millichap’s Douglas Mandel, vice
president for investments at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale Office. The city
of Plantation originally purchased four of the parcels, which include a
school and vacant hospital, in December, and the Hollywood company paid
$5.5 million last month for the remaining parcel. The four parcels are
located at 6711 West Sunrise Boulevard. The fifth property is situated
at 7701 West Sunrise Boulevard. TRD
