Hotel firm focuses on Latin markets

With the growing influence of the Latin America, especially in Miami
real estate, Len Dugow’s LGD Communications decided to create LGD
Latino, a division of the marketing firm aimed at capitalizing on the
Latino market in the hospitality, tourism and real estate sectors. The
new venture is headed by Rafael Torres, who has been a consultant to
several agencies since selling his Hispanic-based ad agency, SCR
Marketing, in 2006. The company plans to target the Latin American
market through the establishment of affiliate offices throughout the
continent, along with focusing on Latino consumers in the United States.
