Industrial brokers look to Panama

ComReal Miami broker Ed Redlich was part of a recent Miami-Dade County
trade mission to Panama orchestrated by the county’s Office of Economic
Development. Panama is considered by some logistics hub for the Americas,
a natural fit for Miami’s industrial market, according to Redlich. He
was part of a team of 30 Miami delegates that included a strong
industrial component, with freight forwarders, importers, exporters and
manufacturers. The delegation was looking at Panama ahead of the
expansion of the Panama Canal, which will be complete in 2014. — Alexander Britell
