Discount clothing store DD’s set to open in Fort Lauderdale

Discount clothing store DD’s, offering department store clothing brands at cheaper prices, is opening at 1939 Northwest Ninth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale this weekend, according to the Sun Sentinel. This is the second location in Broward County for the store, whose parent company is Ross Stores.

This is the DD’s fourth store in South Florida. A Miami location opened June 25, a store in Tamarac opened in 2007 and a Riviera Beach location opened last September.

DD’s is not the only retail outlet opening in South Florida this weekend. A new Dollar General store will officially open in Lauderhill, also on Saturday. [Sun Sentinel]
