Law firm Cozen O’Connor doubles space at Southeast Financial Center

National law firm Cozen O’Connor has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion at Florida’s tallest office tower, the Southeast Financial Center. The firm will be expanding from 4,900 square feet to 8,900 square feet to accommodate recent hires, and will be completely redesigning the office space to increase efficiencies and upgrades to aesthetics.

“When considering our space requirements and market options, it was a comparatively easy decision to remain at Southeast Financial Center rather than move to a building with unknown parameters of amenities and unproven building requirements,” said Richard Dunn, office managing partner at Cozen O’Connor.

The tower boasts one million square feet under occupancy. Ten of the Top 250 law firms have leases in the building, taking more than 330,000 square feet or approximately one quarter of the space, according to the center. — Katherine Clarke
