Foreclosure investigators say they were forced to resign

Former Florida Assistant Attorney General Theresa Edwards and colleague
June Clarkson, who had been involved in the probe of the foreclosure
document scandal, claim they were forced to resign. According to the two
attorneys, despite positive evaluations, they were instructed to either
resign or be fired. “It all happened very abruptly,” said Edwards. “I
think they wanted to put people in there that were more in line with
their thinking.” The investigation was launched by Bill McCollum, the
predecessor of current Attorney General Pam Bondi. [Sun
