Heart of Palm Beach hotel renovation makes headway: Glenn Straub

Glenn Straub, the owner of the former Heart of Palm Beach Hotel, predicts that a renovated portion of the project, renamed the Palm House, could be finished as soon as December, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.
“The pool, Jacuzzi and some rooms should be installed by the end of the year,” Straub, who purchased the property for $10 million at a September 2009 foreclosure auction, told the Daily News. “We are making great headway.”
He projected the 79-unit condo hotel would be complete in about nine months time. A private club space and the spa should be open by fall 2012, he said. [PBDN]
