A criminal real estate-related case against Alfredo Sararo will be transferred from Pittsburgh to Florida, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Sararo is accused of defrauding local investors in South Florida real estate deals and has been charged with wire fraud and filing false tax returns.
Sararo requested the change in venue because he lives in Florida, and the involved property and some witnesses are located in Florida state. Prosecutors argued that some of his crimes were instigated or completed in Western Pennsylvania but a judge complied with the accused’s request. [Pittsburgh Post Gazette]
