Two Broward County residents have been charged by federal authorities
with mortgage fraud totaling $2.8 million, with Bank of America one of
the biggest victims. Jinnie Mathurin and Guhier Florvilus have each been
charged with wire fraud, and could face as many as 30 years in prison.
Florida led the country in mortgage fraud in the second quarter. [SFBJ]
