Cervera launches Facebook application for property searches

Miami-based luxury residential brokerage Cervera Real Estate has begun offering property listing searches directly from its Facebook page, giving users the ability to share their home searches with their social network.

The firm announced a partnership with Miami-based social media company SocialKandy to develop the “Social Property Search” application for the brokerage’s webpage.

“Whether it’s for your mansion facing the ocean or your first loft in the city, you’re going to want to share the properties you’re considering as you make the decision to purchase,” said Veronica Cervera Goeseke, CEO of Cervera Real Estate. “Now you can select your favorite properties and talk about the options without ever leaving Facebook.”

The application allows users to search by property type, size, price and specific MLS listings. Once their search is narrowed to specific properties, users can enlist their Facebook friends to vote on the best one.

The application was launched in September, and the firm reports a spike in traffic to its Facebook page.
