Okeechobee Blvd landscaping plan is rejected

A proposal to improve a four-mile stretch of Okeechobee boulevard in Palm Beach County was shot down by the county commissioners, according to WPBF.com. The commissioners said they couldn’t justify spending the half-a-million dollars necessary to landscape the road between the Florida Turnpike and State Road 7, considering so much of the county’s budget is being cut.
