Trump confirms Doral deal to buy Doral Golf Resort

Donald Trump confirmed that he is buying the Doral Golf Resort and Spa
for $170 million, following a report yesterday, according to the Sun
Sentinel. “We’ve made a contract to purchase,” he said, intending to
restore the property to “its original health.” Trump pointed to several
similar golf projects, including ones in Washington, D.C. and
Philadelphia over the last few years. He also said the company wants to
expand in Florida. “In Florida, we’ve had a lot of luck,” he said. “The
