Male agents list more homes for sale, but female agents list at higher prices

In New York State, male real estate agents have 7 percent more homes
for sale than female agents, while in Florida, male agents have 13
percent more homes for sale, according to data analyzed by Trulia.

But in New York, homes listed by female agents are 15 percent more
expensive, and in Florida, homes listed are 2 percent more expensive.

In both New York and Florida, like in all states throughout the
country, women outnumber men working as real estate agents.

The numbers are consistent nationally.

Throughout the country, for the most part, men list more homes than
women, while women have listings with higher prices.
