Spring Footwear had previously leased 34,000 square feet in Pompano Beach, but decided to buy the space in order to expand and capitalize on a buyer-friendly market. The ownership wanted to buy “so they can control their own destiny,” according to Allen Lindow of CB Richard Ellis, which represented Spring Holdings in the deal.

The showroom, at 1001 W. McNab Road, previously belonged to City Furniture before it consolidated and moved to Boca Raton earlier this year. City Furniture recently announced an ambitious, $17.5 million plan to bring more stores to South Florida. [GlobeSt]
