The Federal Reserve’s Beige Book was not positive about Florida real
estate in its latest edition, despite a recent trend of favorably
reviewing the state’s market compared to the rest of the Southeast.
“Florida brokers reported that home sales growth slowed,” the report
said. “Outside of Florida, Southeast brokers noted a modest pickup in
sales growth.” According to the report, tourism in Florida was strong,
however, saying Southeast businesses anticipate a “vibrant” season. [Miami
