Osorio home sold for $12.8M

The winning bidder for the home of Claudio Osorio paid $12.75 million
for the businessman’s Star Island home, according to the South Florida
Business Journal. The home, which is located at 15 Star Island Drive and
next-door to the home of billionaire Phillip Frost, was sold last Friday at a
bankruptcy auction to an undisclosed bidder. Osorio will return to his
position at Innovida, which went into bankruptcy in March, but will have
to sell two other properties — a Colorado ski chalet and a condominium
in Switzerland. [SFBJ]
