Builders plan Weston Jai-Alai

The Broward County town of Weston could have its own Jai-Alai facility
if builders Ron Bergeron and David Romanik have their way. The two
partners have have planned a three-walled court and “cardroom
facilities,” and have made an initial capital investment of $1,000,
according to an application filed with the state. Magic City Casino in
Miami is also looking to open a Jai-Alai facility. Bergeron is the
founder and owner of Bergeron Land Development. [SFBJ]
