Palm Beach residents Abe and Giovani Haruvi have purchased the
five-bedroom home of the late philanthropist and real estate investor
Robert Gordon and his wife for $7.8 million, according to a deed filed
with the Palm Beach County Clerk. The home, at 980 North Lake Way, which
was listed for $11.9 million, follows the Haruvis’ ongoing renovation
project on another large Palm Beach home, 112 Via Palma. The home was
designed by Ames Bennett and built in 1962 by developer Robert
Gottfried. Scott Gordon of Fite Shavell, the Gordons’ son, had the
listing. [Palm
