Canadian firm pays $7.2 million for Pompano Beach golf club

The Palm-Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach has been sold to a Canadian
company for $7.2 million. The buyer, ClubLink, an operator of golf clubs
throughout Canada and the United States, now has 11 courses
in Florida, according to the South Florida Business Journal. Marcus & Millichap’s Steven Ekovich, the firm’s vice
president of investments in Tampa, represented both sides in the deal.
The firm’s first Florida purchase came in September 2010 in the Tampa
