The University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park has signed
7,550 square feet of new space with four tenants. Medical device firm
Binder Biomedical, DemeRx — a UM spinoff — consulting firm Specialty
Telehealth Services and the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce have all
signed on at the park, which officially opened in September. The leases
bring occupancy at the park to 63 percent. “The addition of DemeRx to
our tenant rooter further strengthens the relationship between the
University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park and the University
itself,” said leasing manager Bill Hunter. — Alexander Britell
