Brazilians continue to lead the way in Florida’s residential real estate
market, driving up the price of coastal condominiums along with other
Latin Americans and Canadians, according to the Financial Times. The
Brazilian effect has brought prices of such condos up nearly 50 percent
from the 2009 bottom, according to Condo Vultures. As The Real Deal has
reported, Brazilians and Latin Americans have made a significant impact
on the market — from nearly “saving” the Miami market, as Related’s
Jorge Perez put it
, to actually changing the way developers sell and
price their condominiums
