There are three new residential complexes currently slated for
construction in Boynton Beach, with two planned apartment towers and one
residential community. Developer Compson is dusting off plans to build
at a site at which it halted construction in 2007, Renaissance Commons.
“It’s the last and best piece, right in the middle of the action,” said
Bobby D’Angelo, vice president at Compton. Also starting development is
Gulfsteam Gardens, which broke ground last month on a 308-unit townhouse
and apartment project called Seabourn Cove, another site stalled after
the housing bust. “I’m getting calls every day from different developers
looking to have [apartment] studies done,” said analyst Jack McCabe. [Palm
