A new version of the Delano is set to debut in January following almost
$10 million in upgrades, according to the Miami Herald. “It’s really
about taking something that’s classic and reinvigorating it,” said
Michael Gross, CEO of Morgans Hotel Group, which owns the Delano. “This
has been a phenomenal year for the property and it continues to perform
very well.” The hotel will launch a new restaurant, Bianca, which will
replace the Blue Door Fish restaurant, and the hotel has seen a general
facelift, from iPads in every room to floating televisions in bathrooms.
