Aloft hotel slated for Doral

Starwood was slated to break ground on an Aloft hotel in Doral
yesterday, hiring general contractor Ortega Juneau to build the project,
according to the South Florida Business Journal. The hotel “will
resonate with the local community, as it demonstrates confidence in our
local economy,” Ortega said. The 145-room hotel will have 82,368 square
feet and will be located at 3265 NW 107th Avenue. [SFBJ]
