Southern Waste Systems moving headquarters to Davie

Southern Waste Systems is moving its headquarters to a new location at
2380 College Avenue in Davie, according to the South Florida Business
Journal. About 55 employees of the firm, which is Florida’s largest
privately owned business, will make the move, while several facilities,
including a recycling facility and depot, remain at the current
office in Palm Beach County. “This move will allow us to be even more
focused on assisting the residents and businesses in Broward County in
their goal to increase recycling,” said CEO Charles Gusmano. [SFBJ]
