TRD’s Alex Britell talks about last year’s SF market

Alexander Britell, The Real Deal’s South Florida website bureau chief, was a guest on the National Real Estate Auction Radio Show last Friday with host Doug Dennison, a veteran of the South Florida real estate market. Britell talked to Dennison about the Florida real estate market in 2011. Last year was actually a strong year, he said, despite distressed inventory. In terms of sales, it may well be “the best year that Miami Dade County has ever seen.” Britell also talked about the effect of Latin American buyers on the sales market, saying Miami had been “saved” by their interest.
